Job Overview:
The title assistant is the first person that clients and visitors see and speak to. These interactions often set the tone for what is expected for the duration of the experience. They are responsible for clerical tasks and offer support for daily operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer/direct calls.
  • Deposit checks.
  • Complete cashier check verification.
  • Take/deliver messages when necessary.
  • Greet incoming clients/guests warmly.
  • Copy IDs for closings.
  • Put together closing packages.
  • Make phone calls regarding the file.
  • Maintain closing calendar.
  • Handles walk-in customers with deed prep orders or cash deals.
  • Send out e-signing documents and mail-aways.
  • Assist with closings.
  • Request updates.
  • Obtain authorizations or preclosing requests.
  • Send receipts and get authorizations from the Business Manager.
  • Warehouser Duties if none
  1. Send/mail all closing checks.
  2. Get signed documents ready for recording.
  3. Warehouse all files - Send out payoffs, packages, and scanned documents.
  4. Assist with post-closing follow-up work.
  5. Make phone calls regarding the file.
  6. Back up for answering phone calls.
  7. Mails out original deeds and deeds of trust.
