Work Environment

The role of Physician Assistant is full-time and requires an onsite presence at our surgical center. Our team operates Sunday through Saturday, with a specifically scheduled workweek. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with shifts beginning at 5:00 pm. The center is designed to facilitate teamwork, allowing for an organized multi-disciplinary approach that supports continuity of care throughout the patientโ€™s journey. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, reviewing medical histories and identifying any patient concerns.
  • Order, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood panels and imaging studies to guide informed medical decision-making.
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of health conditions and illnesses prevalent in primary and family medicine.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on both chronic and acute health issues.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor therapeutic responses, ensuring optimal patient compliance and satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.

  • Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York.
  • Proven experience working as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or similar medical setting.
  • Specialization or a strong background in family medicine is highly preferred.
  • Extensive clinical experience focused on adult and pediatric primary care.
