Burial Services Professional / Equipment Operator

Wilbert Precast is seeking a dedicated Burial Services Professional to join our team. This role is hands-on, physically demanding, and incredibly meaningful. You’ll play an essential part in delivering burial vaults, operating small equipment, setting up graveside services, and supporting families during one of life’s most important moments. What You’ll DoOperate small/mini equipment (mini excavator, skid steer, compact equipment) for grave preparation and site work (training provided if needed)
Transport and set burial vaults and related equipment to cemeteries across the region
Support funeral service setups with professionalism, care, and attention to detail
Perform vault installations and assist with grading, site preparation, and backfilling
Safely tow trailers and operate work trucks and support equipment
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
Work safely, follow established procedures, and maintain equipment
Participate in rotating weekend work (eligible for weekend shift differentials)
Represent Wilbert Precast with respect and compassion toward families and funeral partners
What We’re Looking ForClean driving record — current and in good standing
Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and perform physically demanding work
Experience operating small/mini equipment such as mini excavators or skid steers (preferred, not required — training provided)
Ability to work around open excavations and follow trenching/excavation safety practices
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation and maintenance
Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to quality workmanship
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset

$21–$26 per hour depending on experience
Weekend differentials for scheduled weekend shifts
Optional: Commercial Driver’s License (qualifies applicant into a higher pay range)
