Job description

About the Role:
The Digital Marketing & Technology team plans, builds and analyzes digital programs across our key channels, including website, social media, email marketing, digital advertising and intranet, to effectively communicate Baird's message both internally and externally.
This is a hybrid internship, working four days per week in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office and one day remote. The intern must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, and work part time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in May 2027.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Work on a variety of digital marketing projects including web, email marketing and social media channels
  • Gain exposure to and support all facets of digital marketing
  • Gain experience with various enterprise-level marketing technology suites and learn in-demand marketing technology skills
  • Use a content management system (CMS) to make timely updates to our corporate website
  • Generate and analyze web and digital marketing analytics reports
  • Support digital marketing channels by working within email marketing platforms and enterprise social media publishing tools
  • Assist with page creation and content management for Baird's intranet

What You'll Bring to Baird:
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, communications or business administration
  • Anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later
  • Completed coursework in one or more of the following: digital marketing, marketing communications, online marketing, web programming or digital advertising
  • Interest in digital marketing and technology and a desire to learn about marketing technology
  • Experience with building, managing or updating websites using a content management tool
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally
  • Organizational excellence, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery
  • High level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking, with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to clients and associates
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Prior experience with email marketing and/or social media management is preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and a content management system (CMS) is a plus
  • Google Analytics and Looker Data Studio experience is a plus
