Job description

POSITION TITLE: Mobility Coach Manager

REPORTS TO:   Senior Director of Family Economic Advancement

SALARY: $58,500-$60,000

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Mobility Coach Manager is responsible for supervising, training, supporting, and holding Mobility Coaches accountable for quality service delivery, program compliance, and achievement of agency goals. The Manager ensures effective implementation of NKCAC's Whole Family Mobility Coaching Model by promoting family stability, economic mobility, cross-program service integration, and positive family outcomes.

                                                                                                  

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise, train, coach, and support Mobility Coaches in all aspects of their positions and provide ongoing leadership, accountability, and professional development.
  2. Ensure Mobility Coaches achieve monthly performance expectations related to family engagement, productivity, documentation quality, referrals, outcomes, and program performance.
  3. Ensure compliance with National Performance Indicators (NPIs), Family Partnership Agreement requirements, Head Start Performance Standards, grant requirements, agency policies, and programmatic standards.
  4. Monitor Family Partnership Agreement completion, quality, and progress to ensure family goals are documented, updated, and actively supported through Mobility Coaching services.
  5. Review and monitor Mobility Coach caseloads, family goals, referrals, service plans, and outcome achievement to ensure families receive coordinated and effective services.
  6. Support Mobility Coaches in assisting families with reducing barriers related to employment, education, financial stability, housing, transportation, health, and overall family well-being.
  7. Lead and monitor Head Start and Early Head Start recruitment efforts, enrollment stabilization activities, attendance improvement initiatives, chronic absenteeism interventions, and family engagement efforts to ensure full utilization of funded enrollment opportunities.
  8. Collaborate with Site Administrators, Education staff, and agency leadership to develop and implement recruitment strategies, monitor recruitment pipelines, and ensure Mobility Coaches actively participate in identifying, recruiting, and enrolling eligible children and families.
  9. Ensure Mobility Coaches document services, assessments, referrals, family progress, outcomes, and case notes accurately and timely within empowOR, ChildPlus, and other required systems.
  10. Conduct routine file reviews, documentation audits, scorecard reviews, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance, data integrity, and monitoring readiness.
  11. Monitor family stability and economic mobility outcomes and utilize reports, dashboards, and performance data to identify trends, address performance gaps, and support continuous improvement.
  12. Ensure Mobility Coaches actively connect families to appropriate NKCAC programs and community resources and meet agency expectations for cross-program referrals and Whole Family service integration.
  13. Promote collaboration among Head Start, Early Head Start, LIHEAP, Weatherization, KYNECT, SNAP E&T, Financial Empowerment, Employment Services, Housing Programs, Senior Services, Community Collaboration for Children, Lincoln Grant Scholar House, and other agency programs to maximize family outcomes and resource utilization.
  14. Assist with the development and implementation of staff training, coaching tools, accountability systems, operational procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  15. Promote NKCAC visibility throughout the community through outreach activities, public presentations, community partnerships, and participation in local meetings and events.
  16. Maintain a balanced work schedule to complete supervisory responsibilities, community networking activities, administrative duties, and direct support activities.
  17. Work closely with the Senior Director of Family Economic Advancement and agency leadership to ensure programmatic goals, family outcomes, and organizational priorities are achieved.
  18. Travel throughout NKCAC's eight-county service area as required.
  19. Maintain confidentiality and protect client, employee, and agency information at all times during and after service delivery.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Mental Health, Human Services, Social Work, Human/Family Services, Counseling, or related field or equivalent job experience
  • Experience in Head Start or other early childhood development programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills
  • Efficient time management
  • Ability to relate to persons of various socio-economic backgrounds
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic databases
  • Ability to follow and apply written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
  • Must pass criminal background check and alcohol/drug screening
  • Ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and engage in a full range of motion
  • Ability to sit, read, and type at a computer for up to 8 hours a per day
