114 Private Wealth is a highly experienced wealth management practice serving individuals, families, business owners, executives, and institutions with complex financial needs. Our practice provides comprehensive wealth management and financial planning through a collaborative, ensemble team-based approach focused on delivering an exceptional client experience.


114 Private Wealth is affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet), which serves as our broker-dealer and provides access to the Wells Fargo Advisors platform, technology, operational resources, and custody capabilities.


We are seeking an experienced Wealth Associate to join our growing practice. This is an important client-facing and operational position for an individual who takes pride in providing exceptional service, managing details, and helping advisors and clients navigate sophisticated wealth management relationships.


Position Overview

The Wealth Associate will work closely with our Wealth Advisors, Wealth Associates, clients, and Wells Fargo Advisors resources to support the day-to-day administration and service of client relationships.


The ideal candidate is experienced in the wealth management industry, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.


Candidates with current or previous Wells Fargo Advisors experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Wells Fargo Advisors systems, procedures, and operational processes would be highly valued and may qualify a candidate for an additional hiring/sign-on bonus.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for client service and administrative needs.
  • Provide high-touch service to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Process and monitor account openings, account maintenance, asset transfers, money movements, distributions, deposits, and other client requests.
  • Prepare documentation and coordinate required client signatures and follow-up.
  • Assist Wealth Advisors with preparation for client meetings and ongoing relationship management.
  • Coordinate with Wells Fargo Advisors operational, service, compliance, and other internal resources to resolve client needs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure appropriate documentation of client activity.
  • Monitor outstanding service requests and proactively follow through to completion.
  • Assist with retirement account distributions, beneficiary updates, account registrations, trust and estate-related documentation, and other complex service requests.
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient workflow across a large and sophisticated wealth management practice.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other Wealth Associates and Wealth Advisors as part of our ensemble team-based service model, and provide backup coverage as needed.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Track anticipated checks and money movement arriving via mail.
  • Complete special projects as necessary.
  • Proactively develop self to continuously improve knowledge, skills and credentials and communicate development needs to Wealth Advisors, Director of Client Experience, COO, or CEO as applicable.


Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in wealth management, brokerage, private banking, registered investment advisory, financial services, or transferrable industry or skillset such as customer service, hospitality, sales, education, or military.
  • Previous or current Wells Fargo Advisors experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth and/or ultra-high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Knowledge of brokerage and advisory account administration and financial-services operations, or willingness to learn.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and client requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, polished, and comfortable communicating directly with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to pursue and obtain relevant securities licensing, including SIE, Series 7 and Series 63/65 or Series 66.
