Client Service Associate (Wealth Management)

Location: Fort Myers, FL Work Model: Full-Time | In-Office Monday-Friday Hiring Firm: 1280 Financial Partners Experience: Open to a range of experience levels | Wealth Management, Financial Services, or Banking Client Service Environments Compensation: Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit.

The team is open to considering both entry-level candidates seeking to build a career in wealth management as well as more experienced Client Service Associates who can contribute at a higher level from day one. Comprehensive benefits and discretionary bonus potential included.

About the Role

The Client Service Associate serves as a key member of the client service and operations team, supporting advisors and clients throughout the lifecycle of the relationship. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in wealth management, banking, financial services, or a highly professional client-facing environment who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn. They enjoy being part of a collaborative team, taking ownership of their work, and are looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing independent wealth management firm.

This is not an advisor-track position. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys client service, operations, relationship support, and becoming an integral part of a high-performing wealth management team.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Client Service & Administrative Support

· Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests, questions, and account-related needs

· Deliver a white-glove client experience through timely, professional, and accurate communication

· Build trusted relationships with clients and proactively assist in resolving service issues

· Coordinate client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and support advisors before and after client interactions

· Assist with client onboarding and ensure a seamless transition for new relationships

· Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation

Account Administration & Operations

· Process account paperwork, client forms, and operational requests

· Assist with money movement requests, check deposits, rollovers, and account maintenance activities

· Coordinate with custodians and third-party providers as needed

· Support account reviews, service initiatives, and ongoing client maintenance activities

· Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Advisor & Team Support

· Partner closely with advisors and fellow client service professionals to support daily operations

· Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and internal coordination efforts

· Support client events, educational seminars, and relationship-building initiatives as needed

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the client experience

Team Support & Continuous Improvement

· Work closely with all members of the firm to support business operations

· Proactively identify meaningful tasks and opportunities to support the team when immediate priorities are complete.

· Contribute ideas for improving client service, efficiency, and firm operations

· Take ownership of responsibilities and seek opportunities to learn and grow

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

· 0-3+ years of experience in wealth management or financial services

· Strong client service orientation with exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

· Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment

· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

· Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technology platforms quickly

· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the broader team

· Ability to work onsite full-time in Fort Myers, FL

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience supporting financial advisors, wealth managers, RIAs, broker-dealers, or private banking teams

· Series 7 and/or Series 66 licenses (or willingness to pursue licensing)

· Experience working with BNY Pershing and/or Charles Schwab Advisor Services

· Familiarity with custodial account servicing, ACAT transfers, money movement requests, and account maintenance workflows.

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree

· Understanding of financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, or wealth management concepts.
