Job description

The Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Director and reports to the Director and/or Assistant Director. The Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist operates a variety of radiological equipment for diagnostic purposes in the detection of disease and injury. He/she assists with various special procedures in Radiology, in the Hybrid OR suite, and in heart catherizations. He or she upholds the mission and vision of Murray Calloway County Hospital and follows all hospital policies and departmental procedures.
Minimum Education
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience
Two years post graduate Radiologic experience preferred in a hospital setting. Experience in heart catheterizations, special procedures, or emergency imaging is preferred.
Required Licenses:
  • Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible.
  • Must hold a radiation operator's license in the state of Kentucky.
  • Current CPR.
  • ACLS
