Job description

Our immigration law firm is seeking a creative, video-savvy Bilingual Marketing Assistant (Portuguese/English) – Video & Content Creator to produce engaging content and assist the marketing team.

Portuguese & English is a non-negotiable requirement. This is a fully in-office position. No hybrid, no remote, no agencies.

Applications that do not meet the above points will not be considered. Spanish is a plus.

You’ll be the face of our brand on camera while handling graphic design, social media, special client relationship management and outreach. This is a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for someone who is assertive, computer savvy, detail-oriented, but who also has a great attitude and has the willingness to roll up their sleeves and get things done. We need a Marketing Assistant who is excited about helping people understand the importance and complexity of immigration, and to help them navigate the stellar services we offer. You will need to have experience in content creation, graphic design, and video editing.

If the following describes you, then YOU may be the superstar we are looking for:

  • You have a passion for storytelling and immigration advocacy.
  • You see an opportunity for organization where others see a mess.
  • You believe it’s important to greet all potential and existing clients with a warm, friendly welcome.
  • You are skilled at communicating with people on the phone, in person, and by email.
  • You are a relationship builder who is comfortable interacting with different types of personalities and all levels of authority.
  • You know your ABCs without singing (and know why that’s important).
  • You value doing it right the first time, so you review your work and double-check the details.
  • You know what happens in the office, stays in the office.
  • You genuinely care about clients and want to deliver an experience that turns them into a raving fan.

Your basic responsibilities:

  • Content creation.
  • Video production and editing (film/edit long- and short-form videos for our social media channels).
  • Graphic design for social media and newsletters.
  • Copywriting in Portuguese & English for social media, newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Grow our TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn audiences.
  • Schedule posts, maintain engagement on social media channels.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Back up team members when they need a hand or a day off.
  • Maintain practice and client confidentiality.

These items are non-negotiable:

  • Portuguese and English fluency, written and spoken (Spanish is a plus).
  • 1+ years in video editing, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Proficient in Adobe/Canva, Premiere/CapCut, and social platforms.
  • Strong writing skills (meaning you understand grammar and sentence structure, and don't rely on AI for everything).
  • You must be available to work and be in the office Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a FULL TIME position.
  • You must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • You must be comfortable working with various computer programs and systems.
  • You must be reliable, trustworthy, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • You must be a positive, high-energy team player who is results-oriented – No Drama!
  • You must care about something and have goals in life.

Why Join Us?

  • Be the creative force behind a growing brand.
  • Make clients’ immigration journeys memorable.
  • Opportunities for growth.
