Job description

The Opportunity:
The Marketing Specialist supports day-to-day marketing and communications efforts, with an emphasis on content creation, visual assets, and coordination across teams. This role is well-suited for a marketing professional who is hands-on, organized, and eager to grow within a collaborative, professional services environment.
This position reports to the Marketing Director and works in conjunction with marketing and business development team members.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the creation and editing of marketing materials, including digital graphics, presentations, and basic layouts.
  • Support photography and video production efforts, including shooting and editing for internal and external use.
  • Capture photos and video at job sites, offices, and events.
  • Support internal and external communications such as website updates, email content, and social media posts.
  • Assist with proposal and business development materials, including project sheets, resumes, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information, visuals, and content.
  • Organize and maintain marketing files, photo/video libraries, and creative assets.
  • Track assignments, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Support special marketing initiatives and projects, as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing or communications experience (including internships) preferred, will consider less experience for highly skilled candidates.
  • Experience or skills in video shooting and editing, photography, graphic design, and general communications.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Occasional travel to project sites for photography and video, and periodic travel to other office locations as needed. Some overnight travel may be required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry or a professional services environment.
