Medical Assistant (MA) - Bealeton Family Medicine

Job Type: Full Time | Days

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Hourly Range: $16.96 - $20.02

Bealeton Family Practice provides exceptional primary care for all ages. We have same day availability to accommodate the needs of this growing community at the southern end of Fauquier County. We have partnered with the Vaccines For Children program at this location. The VFC program provides no-cost routine immunizations to eligible children aged 18 years and younger through enrolled public and private healthcare providers. This is greatly beneficial so the whole family can be seen and treated at one location.

How you'll contribute

A Medical Assistant (MA) who excels in this role:

  • Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.

  • Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR) 
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections 
  • Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms 
  • Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred. Additional requirements include:

  • CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is required. 
  • Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
