We are looking for eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals aspiring to work in the sports and entertainment industry and are willing to travel.
Event Overview:
You will be working at Tailgate N' Tallboys Festival in Bloomington, IL on June 18th - 21st. Tailgate N' Tallboys is a music festival and truck show featuring performances by Zach Top, Treaty Oak Revival, Jessie Murph, The Red Clay Strays, and many more. As an Event Staff Team Member at FanGate Solutions for this event, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticket sales, event operations and guest services at one of the largest music festivals in the Midwest. Staff will receive training on: giving top notch customer service to exceed our client's expectations and increase fans overall experience, ticket software training, and defusing customer issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Aid guests with accurate festival information
  • Selling and/or picking up event tickets at venue
  • Assist with ticket scanning and line management for festival entry
  • Selling and/or scanning parking passes for entry into festival parking lots
  • Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
  • Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
  • Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
  • Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Willing to travel to local and/or out of state venues
  • Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays
  • College student majoring in sport management, hospitality and tourism management, music business or related fields is a plus
  • Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests' needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
  • Ticket sales experience is a plus
  • Must be neat and presentable at all times
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED

Pay and Estimated Schedule:
Pay is $15.00/hr.
Wednesday 6/17 - 8am - 4pm and 4pm - 12am
Thursday 6/18 - 10am - 10pm
Friday 6/19 - 11am - 10pm
Saturday 6/20 - 11am - 10pm
Sunday 6/21 - 11am - 9pm
Housing and Travel:Limited housing accommodations and gas stipends can be provided for out of state staff.
