Kansas City Hyundai is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Rental Car Concierge / Customer Service Representative to join our growing dealership team.

As our Rental Car Concierge, you’ll assist customers who need a loaner or rental vehicle while their vehicle is being serviced. You’ll help create a smooth, stress-free experience from check-in through vehicle return while working closely with our Service Department.

  Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Coordinate rental and loaner vehicle reservations, check-outs, and returns.
  • Process rental agreements, payments, and required documentation accurately.
  • Explain rental policies, insurance requirements, and vehicle features.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each rental for cleanliness and damage.
  • Ensure rental vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer pickup.
  • Maintain accurate rental records and vehicle availability.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to coordinate customer transportation needs.
  • Resolve customer questions quickly while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Move, park, and organize rental vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized rental office and vehicle lot.
  • Follow dealership policies and safety procedures at all times.
  Qualifications
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, rental car, or automotive experience preferred.
  • Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computers and dealership software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
