The Sales Assistant is responsible for creating a guest for a lifetime by providing an exceptional presentation of the dealership, vehicles, guidance, vehicle delivery, and sale of vehicles through the Easton Motors sales process.

POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with teammates, the public or private contacts to establish guest relationships and create a strong referral network
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as phone, fax, scanner, printer, etc.
  • Ability to navigate a computer and related software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain cleanliness of store and lot inventory
  • Move vehicles on the lot to present a positive curb appeal for potential and existing customers
  • Wash and park all vehicles to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal
  • Professionally greet new and existing guests in person, by phone, text and email to determine their needs including but not limited to...
    • Assisting and posting all Creative Finance payments to the proper system
  • Work with guests in a discreet and responsible manner
  • Maintain knowledge of the entire inventory of Easton Motors vehicles
    • Responsible for inventory check-ins
    • Conducts weekly inventory review to ensure proper buyers guide, accurate reporting and securing status of vehicles to ensure they are locked and not damaged
  • Assist the sales team as they complete the sales processes, including but not limited to...
    • Taking and scanning documents
    • Pull up and prepare vehicle for test drive
    • Gather accurate mileage VIN number and Stock number of guests selected vehicle
    • Conduct reference checks for guest applications
    • Prepare vehicles for guest delivery by cleaning, washing, and placing the vehicle in an area that will allow for a comfortable guest presentation
    • Presenting the vehicle and delivery checklist to guest after purchase.
  • Drive 3 or less cars per day to gain knowledge of the vehicle and look for areas of concern.
  • Complete and submit end of day reports
  • Handle the activities and interactions throughout the day with professionalism.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, HR or upper leadership
