Join our loving and enthusiastic team managing the corporate accounts for two well-known hotel locations, Holiday Inn & Suites (MO), Ramada by Wyndham (NE) and Comfort Suites (IA). You'll gain valuable experience in corporate accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end closing processes, all while enjoying paid time off and a supportive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts and oversee follow-up on problematic accounts.
  • Ensure timely processing of month-end closing reports, forecasts, and variance reports with accuracy.
  • Assist General Managers and Operations Manager in controlling and tracking hotel inventories.
  • Supervise finance office staff by assigning tasks and monitoring accuracy.
  • Calculate and produce daily deposit transmittals for cash and checks received.
  • Maintain professional communication with general managers, property accountants, and other departments.
  • Review management fees and service agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Process management fee invoices and miscellaneous receivables promptly.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliation reviews.
  • Monitor aged accounts receivables and support Treasury cash management processes.
  • Assist with preparation of consolidated GAAP financial statements and audit work papers.
  • Maintain year-end audit packages and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Treasury and Accounts Payable departments for accurate receivables and payables processing.
  • Conduct variance analysis to support financial statement understanding.
  • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for corporate activities.
