Position Summary
Terrible's is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Treasury Manager to lead the company's treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization's financial resources by optimizing cash flow, managing liquidity across multiple business entities, mitigating financial risk, and supporting strategic financial planning.
The Treasury Manager partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Executive Leadership, and external financial institutions to ensure efficient treasury operations, maintain strong internal controls, and support the company's continued growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Cash Management & Liquidity
  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts, business entities, and operating divisions.
  • Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational, capital, and strategic funding requirements.
  • Manage cash concentration, intercompany transfers, and banking transactions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance short-term and long-range cash flow forecasts.
  • Optimize working capital while maximizing the efficient use of company cash resources.
  • Analyze cash balances and recommend investment or financing strategies when appropriate.

Treasury Operations
  • Oversee all treasury management systems, online banking platforms, and electronic payment processes.
  • Manage wire transfers, ACH payments, positive pay services, remote deposits, and other electronic banking activities.
  • Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Administer bank account openings, closures, maintenance, authorized signers, and banking documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury transactions.

Banking & Financial Relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, armored transport providers, and treasury service vendors.
  • Evaluate banking products and treasury services to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Assist with negotiating banking agreements, service contracts, and treasury fees.
  • Support debt administration, loan compliance, covenant reporting, and financing activities.
  • Coordinate banking services for new acquisitions, business expansions, and organizational changes.

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Analyze cash flow trends and provide recommendations to improve liquidity and working capital performance.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams during budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Prepare monthly treasury reports, liquidity analyses, cash forecasts, and executive presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate treasury processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic business initiatives and capital projects.

Risk Management & Compliance
  • Monitor financial risks related to liquidity, banking operations, fraud, and credit exposure.
  • Lead treasury-related fraud prevention initiatives and payment security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, banking regulations, internal controls, and applicable financial reporting requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing treasury documentation and responding to audit requests.
  • Assist with business continuity planning related to treasury operations.

Qualifications:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Cash Management, or Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash forecasting, banking products, liquidity management, and financial controls.
  • Experience managing multiple bank accounts across various business entities or locations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
  • Experience within convenience stores, fuel, retail, gaming, hospitality, restaurant, or other multi-location organizations.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems, and financial reporting software.
  • Knowledge of debt facilities, revolving credit agreements, covenant reporting, and working capital optimization.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or rapid organizational growth.
