Pay Rate: $16.56 Hourly
Training session is September 14th through October 30th - Monday through Friday 8am-2:30pm.
Are you interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant?
We are pleased to announce that the Jewish Home has been approved by the NYS Department of Health to offer our own Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP). This is an employer-paid training program that will prepare trainees with the knowledge and skills to work as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). The training will encompass classroom, lab, and clinical experience to prepare learners about caring for the growing geriatric population.
After successful completion of the program, trainees are eligible to take the New York State Prometric Nursing Assistant Examination, through Jewish Home of Rochester. Upon achieving certification, Nursing Assistant Trainees (NAT) will transition to the role of a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Jewish Home of Rochester.
You must be able to attend class Training Sessions September 14th-October 30th Monday through Friday 8am-2:30pm. Position requires a High School Diploma or GED (High School Equivalency).
