JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: COACH-ASSISTANT
QUALIFICATIONS: Any coach should be able to execute and perform knowledge and skills that are required for their sport. All applicants must meet MSHSAA standards for coaching certification.
REPORTS TO: Head Coach/Activities Director
JOB GOAL: To contribute and enhance individual and team performance. To assist the players in the development of sportsmanship and character building as well as team building.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Each coach will be assigned duties to perform from the Head Coach which will be evaluated during and after the season.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: To be able to perform coaching duties both physically and mentally. Being able to perform in hot or cold conditions are part of the sport. The coach must be in good enough condition to perform in challenging conditions.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Specified to the school calendar and sport season calendar which is delegated by MSHSAA.
TYPE OF POSITION: EXEMPT
