Assistant To The Corporate Executive

Las Vegas, Nevada

The Job

It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant to the Corporate Executive to provide a wide variety of non-routine administrative duties including handling of highly confidential matters. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

The Day-To-Day:

  • Greet all visitors and callers and address their needs
  • Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department
  • Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff
  • Manage calendar with numerous last minute updates and conflicts, schedule various meetings
  • Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary
  • Arrange and coordinate air and hotel reservations
  • Reconcile expenses and submit reimbursables for processing
  • Maintain confidential files and honor the integrity of all information
The Ideal Candidate
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • 5+ Years of prior relevant experience working in an administrative capacity - Preferred
  • Knowledgeable of Hotel Operations and/or Hotel Development - Preferred
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting - Preferred
