Responsibilities and Duties
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries to the Executive Director from varied audiences
  • Coordinate internal and external events such as recruitment and marketing events and purchases
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting materials, presentations, and agendas on behalf of the Ambition Prep Executive Director and Board of Directors;
  • Draft and send correspondence on behalf of the Executive Director in coordination with the School's Information as appropriate;
  • Maintain executive files, reports, and contact information and track due dates related to correspondence, reports, compliance, and other information;
  • Assist in the preparation and planning of materials for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, Onboarding, and Professional Development, as well as other special events
  • Support the operations team with the management of social media and organizational-wide communications
  • Review policies and implementation of policies throughout the school
  • Answer calls, schedule appointments, conference calls, video conferences as needed and, maintain the school's calendar, and assist with project tracking
  • Inventory and purchase supplies and technology resources as needed
  • Work with the Business Office in the report finalization processes for renewal, new applications, ongoing academic performance evaluations, and ongoing site visit reports.
  • Provide general office support in the areas of parent communication letters and distribution, electronic filing, data entry, copying, scanning, phone coverage, etc.
  • Support with managing various SIS systems and preparing data reports
  • Assist the Executive Director in ensuring open lines of communication with partners and stakeholders, identifying new and ongoing opportunities for collaboration and engagement, and, as needed, represent Ambition Prep's interest at external meetings
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
