Job description


Assists in planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Accounting Department with Tenet policies and generally accepted accounting principles. Assists with reporting and maintaining the Hospital campus monthly financial statements.
**This position is on-site (not hybrid or remote) and provides support for all of the hospitals in the market.
Responsibilities
  • Complies with all SOX 404 requirements.
  • Complies with all policies & procedures that pertain to HIPAA including the minimum necessary requirements for this job position.
  • Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster. Responsible for knowing the Hospital's emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or comparable years of work experience
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years Financial Management in Healthcare field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
None
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven analytical and managerial skills.
