The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician/ Assistant, to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our Veterinarians and providing high-quality care to our patients. This position involves a blend of technical skill, client education, and mentorship. We are looking for someone with Recent Experience in the responsibilities below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Assist Veterinarians during wellness exams and medical procedures.
  • Clinical Tasks: Collect samples for CBC/Chem and parasite testing for Veterinarian interpretation.
  • Surgical Support: Assist with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative recovery. Recent Surgical Experience Required.
  • Client Education: Educate pet parents on preventative care, nutrition, and treatment instructions.
  • Pharmacy: Distribute pharmaceuticals as prescribed and manage inventory.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Recent previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital required.
