Job description

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Remodeling Technician specializing in drywall, flooring, painting, and tile installation to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality remodeling projects, transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help bring client visions to life, ensuring each project meets safety standards, specifications, and aesthetic expectations. Responsibilities

  • Install and finish drywall with attention to smoothness and durability, utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Lay flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl with accuracy in cutting and fitting to ensure seamless surfaces.
  • Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve a professional finish aligned with project specifications.
  • Install tiles for floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces while ensuring proper alignment and adhesion.
  • Perform carpentry tasks including trim work, door hanging, framing, and cabinet installation to enhance structural integrity and aesthetics.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute remodeling projects.
  • Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols on the construction site.

Experience

  • Strong knowledge of building materials installation techniques including masonry, plastering, fabrication, roofing, glazing, and fixture installation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately; experience with schematics is advantageous.
  • Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., tape measures for dimensional measurements), power tools, and heavy equipment operation as needed.
