Job description

Answers Portal Hosts play a meaningful role on our event day team. Answers Portal Hosts assist fans and guests with ticketing needs, specifically providing ticketing technology support via the Ticketmaster platform. Ticketing support should be provided in a friendly and accurate manner, while maintaining a professional appearance with constant consideration being given to customer satisfaction.
This is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is not eligible for benefits. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games. Work hours will fluctuate based on event schedules and business needs.
What You Will Do
  • Assist guests by trouble-shooting ticketing issues and assisting with account lookup/creation.
  • Accurately employ troubleshooting procedures to ensure ticket integrity remains in place while responding to a guest needs and concerns.
  • Use open, flowing communication with and through others to assist a wide variety of people with their ticketing needs, and anticipate guests needs and preferences to offer tailored solutions and recommendations and interactions.
  • Assist guests in downloading, signing up, and using the Intuit Dome App.
  • Proactively pursue opportunities to create positive first impressions and long-lasting, positive memories.
  • Comply with all standards, expectations and policies of the Guest Experience department in order to ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable workplace experience for all team members.
  • Proficiently use technology and assigned company equipment to perform job duties.
  • Assist guests with general arena information (i.e., event availability, event pricing, event seat selection, event scheduling, general parking information).
  • Consistently contribute to the world class guest experience at Intuit Dome that welcomes every guest and demonstrates our service culture commitments.
  • Interact in a professional manner when dealing with other building staff, clients, guests, supervisors, and other arena staff.

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
  • Some experience working in or exposure to Ticketing Operations or Box Office roles.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster or other ticketing products a plus.
  • Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient digital literacy with an understanding, or ability to quickly learn, basic our arena ticketing platform (Ticketmaster).
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or live event/entertainment ticketing space preferred, but not required.

Essential Functions of the Job (Physical Requirements & Working Conditions)
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, or remain in a stationary position for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead and horizontally as needed to perform job duties.

  • Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels, crowds, and vibration typical of live sporting events and entertainment venues.
  • Ability to work in crowded environments with frequent interaction with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation:
