ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement, and maintain information security controls across networks, endpoints, applications, and cloud services
Monitor and triage security alerts from tools such as Darktrace NDR, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
Support incident response activities, including evidence collection, initial investigation, and escalation
Assist with vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and patch management
Help maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and asset inventories
Assist with third-party/vendor security reviews and questionnaires
Participate in security awareness initiatives and help promote secure user behavior
Perform routine security checks and operational tasks as assigned
Document IT procedures, configurations, and incidents


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
3-5 years of experience in information security operations, IT security, or a related technical role
Familiarity with web application security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.

Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities


PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Palo Alto Networks security solutions
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or cloud environments
Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST
Basic scripting or automation experience using PowerShell or Python
