We are searching for a talented OR Asst III-Anesthesia Tech.

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); 6:30am - 3:00pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital – New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, OR Service Group or Manager, Outpatient Surgery Center or Designee, perform a variety of duties in support of the Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, ASU, OB, Cath Lab and Interventional locations including but not limited to handling, cleaning and maintenance of perioperative, endoscopy and anesthesia equipment and supplies, assisting perioperative and anesthesia team. Assist nursing personnel in providing patient care and related duties within assigned areas. Perform ORA duties including on-call as needed or required.

Qualifications
  • Equal to completion of four years of high school.
  • One-year clinical experience in an accredited hospital with preferred OR experience or a Certified Nursing Assistant or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology as related to the perioperative setting is required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year related work experience is required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

USD $18.36 - USD $29.70 /Hr.
