HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Pathologists' Assistant for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Pathologists' Assistant – Surgical Pathology

Shift & Schedule: 5x8s |10:30a-7:30p 

Education: NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program required; May consider MD Pathologist with grossing experience.

Certification: ASCP-PA required.

Experience: 

Minimum 1 year; education/clinical experience may count toward the requirement.

Experience with specimen processing, tissue sampling, and grossing procedures required.

Responsibilities:

Performs gross examination and dissection of small biopsies and surgical specimens, including benign lesions, colon cancer resections, and native livers. 

Performs tissue selection for karyotyping/research and biopsy grossing as needed.
