The position is based onsite at our Surgical Center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and resources to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. The center is designed to facilitate a variety of surgical procedures, where the Physician Assistant will be integral in both pre-operative assessments and post-operative care. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM, offering a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while catering to our patients' needs.

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review patient medical histories to identify health needs and concerns.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood tests and imaging studies (e.g., X-rays) to support clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose and treat a spectrum of health conditions, using your expertise in family and surgical medicine.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, considering both chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records using electronic health record systems to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on a range of topics, including disease prevention and health promotion.
• Engage in daily rounds in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality follow-up care and seamless transitions for patients.
• Stay abreast of advancements in primary care through ongoing research and professional development opportunities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and clinic operations.

At Brook Physician Assistant Clinic, you will be working with a varied patient demographic, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Proficiency in diagnostic and treatment methods relevant to surgical care.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and patient-centered care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
• Willingness to remain updated on healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.

• Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or surgical setting.
• Demonstrable clinical experience in primary care and surgical procedures, along with specific expertise in family medicine.
• Strong understanding of patient care regulations and best practices within the healthcare industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a positive and proactive approach to patient care.
• DEA certification required to prescribe medications.

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 140,000 to USD 160,000, commensurate with experience.
