Job description

Overview
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Radiography. They will utilize XRAYS to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities while complying with Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures. Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with professional/technical health care personnel. The registered diagnostic Radiographer will maintain their professional level of expertise as required by Conway Regional Health System policy. Will be responsible for verifying orders, charging procedures, working knowledge of PACS system, and transport of patients with all necessary paperwork completed.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
Arkansas Department of Health License in Radiography
Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers prior to completion of orientation
Previous Computer Experience
Knowledge of Joint Commission and Arkansas Department of Health requirements preferred
