Job description

We’re looking for a Teacher Assistant to help our lead Teachers in educating our students. You’ll get to work with children ages 3-5 with different educational needs.

As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll be responsible for students who needs assistance to absorb the lesson material. You’ll work with the lead Teacher to build plans for the child.

To do this job well, you should be patient with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Prep & Set up necessary material for class

Review material taught in class with individual students with learning challenges

Escort and supervise student to restroom and toilet train

Make sure classroom is safe and tidy before class starts

Assist teachers with various tasks along with informing parents of their children’s progress

Help student adjust, learn and socialize

Great communication and organizational skills

Cool-tempered and positive attitudeFirm but kind personality

A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents
