Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Web Middleware Technology Team in onboarding new applications using Chef and CI/CD pipelines and work on lifecycle management of SSL certificates.
  • Assist the development team in repairing the applications for Tomcat issues. 
  • Designing, developing, and deploying the applications by utilizing Chef, Ansible, Jenkins and GitLab within a robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Orchestrating the seamless installation and configuration of middleware software systems for the smooth integration and operation.
  • Leverage OpenShift to containerize applications, enabling easy movement across different environments and efficient scaling as needed.
  • Utilize AWS Cloud Services to efficiently manage and support various aspects of the organization's infrastructure.
  • Life cycle management of SSL certificates like creation, renewal, retention, and revocation
  • Ensuring the application of necessary security patches to the servers to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborating with various teams on projects, propose solutions, and address the technical issues.
  • Defining performance standards for the middleware systems and continuously monitoring their performance to ensure they meet established benchmarks.
  • Modify the existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
  • Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
  • Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
