Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on national security space missions? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. If this sounds like you, come join Booz Allen's new Space Sensing Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) team to work on the military's space programs.
As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the military to develop and deploy the next generation of Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) systems capabilities to deliver critical information to our warfighters. Your client will trust you to develop technical assessments, integration plans, and verification plans, for ground and satellite systems. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats and using innovative engineering methodologies and tools to create tomorrow's solutions.

You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience performing systems engineering for space or ground programs
  • Experience supporting United States Space Force (USSF) programs
  • Ability to quickly learn, analyze, and implement systems engineering processes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:
  • Knowledge of Missile Warning and OPIR
  • Possession of excellent leadership skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
