*THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION* DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES: All Points is seeking a dedicated Senior System Engineer (Telemetry). The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Electrical Ground Support Equipment Software team. The candidate will apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, and/or troubleshoot software that performs telemetry processing. EDUCATION: * Minimum requirement is BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Software), Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited college YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: * 5 Years SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS: Required Skills: * Strong experience with C++ and Linux * Knowledge of satellite operations and telemetry systems and processing * Knowledge of Voice and Network communication * Expertise with anomaly investigation and resolution * Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity * Ability to assist users and lab managers with data analysis * Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives * Solid written or verbal communication skills * Knowledgeable in Java, Python, and bash/csh * Knowledgeable in Big Data * Knowledgeable in OSComet * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. * Must be a US citizen due to program requirements.
