DOF Canada is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. A key to success for this position is the ability to deliver excellent customer service experience to offshore and onshore personnel and our outside clients. The Administrative Assistant will provide Administrative support to a variety of departments at DOF. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, outside clients and colleagues;
  • Answering, screening and redirecting in-person and telephone enquiries;
  • Plan and execute team-building activities, fundraising events, holiday parties, and internal celebrations;
  • Administer the company uniform program, including inventory tracking, ordering, and staff distribution;
  • Process purchase requisitions to maintain optimal office supply levels;
  • Maintain reception, meeting rooms and office social hub ensuring the highest possible standard;
  • Champion a positive and passionate culture by supporting employee engagement and event initiatives;
  • Receive and sort mail, scan documents, file management, maintain and replenish inventory;
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to all departments within the organization (HR, HSEQ, Engineering, Finance, Procurement etc...)

Requirements

Education:

  •  Graduate from a Post-secondary education institution in office administration or equivalent experience;

              (Experience can compensate for lack of formally proven competence)

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Professional approach to all situations to create a positive and engaging working environment;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to complete duties independently and in a team environment;
