Business Systems Analyst (HR Systems)
Location: Libertyville, IL; Nashville, TN; or Stuarts Draft, VA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 annually
LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Business Systems Analyst (HR Systems). This individual will serve as a key liaison between Human Resources, business stakeholders, and IT teams, supporting and enhancing HR technology solutions with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements, improving processes, supporting system enhancements, troubleshooting issues, writing functional specifications, and partnering with both technical and business teams to deliver effective HR technology solutions.
Candidates must be able to work from Libertyville, IL, Nashville, TN, or Stuarts Draft, VA. Sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this position.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate annual roadmaps into project plans and milestones
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from HR and organizational stakeholders
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for system improvements
  • Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and test plans
  • Ensure alignment across business units and project teams

Agile Project Delivery
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups
  • Facilitate communication between business users and development teams
  • Support Agile and Scrum methodologies for HR system enhancements
  • Define and elaborate business requirements for new features and functionality
  • Support and enhance SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), Recruiting, Compensation, Learning Management System (LMS), and Performance & Goals
  • Analyze business processes and recommend best-practice solutions
  • Manage security role updates and permissions
  • Support HR data migration and integration initiatives
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support tickets
  • Assist with new module implementations and ongoing system enhancements

Configure and maintain HR workflows, cases, and lifecycle events
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HRSD configuration issues
  • Support integrations between HR applications and core business systems
  • Partner with HR teams across multiple business units to ensure system effectiveness

Change Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Support large-scale HR technology initiatives and upgrades
  • Apply critical thinking to business requirements and solution design
  • Promote testing strategies and automation opportunities
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Support change management initiatives across HR systems

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of technology-related experience
  • 2+ years supporting HR systems
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or a comparable HCM platform
  • Experience supporting one or more SuccessFactors modules including:
    • Employee Central
    • Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
    • Recruiting
    • Compensation
    • Learning
    • Performance & Goals
  • Experience writing functional specifications and test scripts
  • Strong troubleshooting and ticket management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) experience
