Job description

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)/State Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (SCaBA) to join our team. The BCaBA/SCaBA will assist in designing and implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA/LBA. We are looking for a BCaBA/SCaBA with strong analytical skills, experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and a passion for improving client outcomes through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the BCBA/LBA in developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans 
  • Conduct in person assessments and collect data on clients' behaviors and skill acquisition
  • Provide in person, direct behavioral therapy skills trainings to Registered Line Technicians 
  • Supervise and train Registered Line Technicians and other support staff
  • Monitor client progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed under BCBA/LBA guidance
  • Prepare session notes, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with ethical and organizational standards
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support client goals
  • Maintain certification and adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) ethical guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must be a current BCaBA/SCaBA in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience working with individuals with Austin Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities required; 1+ year of experience working in school based services preferred 
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency with data collection and analysis; proficiency with electronic data recording system; strong documentation skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Other Requirements: Background check
