FP&A Systems Administrator in Waukesha, WI
Silgan Containers, North America's leading metal food packaging manufacturer, is hiring a full-time FP&A Systems Administrator to support our Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) platform and financial planning processes.
This role is ideal for an experienced Oracle EPM professional who enjoys combining financial systems expertise with FP&A. You'll play an important role in maintaining and improving Oracle EPBCS while partnering with Finance and business teams to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning.
About the Role:
As an FP&A Systems Administrator, you'll serve as the primary administrator and technical resource for Oracle EPBCS, helping ensure the system is reliable, effective, and aligned with the needs of the Finance organization.
Approximately 70% of the role will focus on Oracle EPBCS administration, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, and user support, with the remaining 30% supporting FP&A activities. This combination provides an opportunity to apply your technical expertise while staying connected to the financial planning processes and business needs the system supports.
You'll collaborate with Finance, IT, business stakeholders, Oracle, and external implementation partners to improve system functionality, streamline processes, and support the continued development of our financial planning capabilities.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary system administrator for Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle EPBCS applications, metadata, business rules, security, forms, dashboards, workflows, and reporting.
  • Lead annual budget setup and initialization within Oracle EPBCS.
  • Support future phases of Oracle EPBCS implementation and system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, respond to user questions, and coordinate complex issues with Oracle and external implementation partners when needed.
  • Maintain system integrity, user security, workflows, and application performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and end-user training materials.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly planning processes through Oracle EPBCS.
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis to maintain familiarity with business performance and planning needs.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reviews by preparing reports and providing system-generated insights.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and assist in identifying key business drivers and variances.
  • Perform ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested.
  • Build collaborative relationships across Finance and other business functions.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience administering Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or a comparable Oracle EPM platform.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle EPBCS applications.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Experience managing metadata, business rules, security, forms, workflows, and reporting within Oracle EPBCS.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with JD Edwards and Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
