Job Title: System AdministratorJob Description
The System Administrator provides first-level technical support for computer users, ensuring systems run smoothly and information remains current. This onsite role focuses on installing and maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, setting up new users, and delivering training and support across the organization. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the opportunity to work closely with a small, collaborative IT team.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives, and related peripherals.
  • Perform computer hardware and software troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Handle computer upgrades, including installing and configuring hard drives, RAM, and other desktop components.
  • Perform system imaging and load appropriate software packages, including operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
  • Set up and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365, ensuring correct access and permissions.
  • Configure and deploy cell phones and desk phones for new and existing users.
  • License software packages to ensure compliance, maintain accurate asset tracking, and monitor inventory.
  • Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet user and business requirements.
  • Provide one-on-one computer and telephone support to employees both in-house and at job sites.
  • Connect users to networks and provide initial training in applications and basic system usage.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and completion information clearly to managers and users.
  • Track and manage support requests using help desk ticketing software, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

You will work with desktop computers, mobile devices, phones, networking equipment, and standard business software in a professional yet relaxed setting, supporting both office staff and personnel at job sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
