Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all corporate safety initiatives with a commitment to a safe working environment and safety as the top priority.
  • Study plans, specifications, and contracts to plan procedures for construction, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead project schedule development and construction activities to maintain logic, sequence, and timeline requirements.
  • Assemble project team members at the start of the project.
  • Manage procurement of tools and materials to meet quality standards and work schedules.
  • Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating phases of construction.
  • Resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce.
  • Coordinate with design team, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve methods.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to specifications and schedules.
  • Perform field labor functions as required.
  • Prepare and review reports on progress, materials used, and costs; adjust work schedules as needed.
  • Coordinate project activities with regulatory or oversight agencies.
  • Maintain high standards of candor, integrity, and ethical practices.
  • Foster win-win relationships through firm, fair, friendly, and factual interactions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages those supervisors assigned to provide assistance and non-supervisory employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; making recommendations to executive management for the rewarding and disciplining of employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
