Job description

POSITION: Assistant Housekeeping Manager
DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager
FLSA STATUS: Salaried/Exempt
Summary
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, meets with vendors to discuss and determine which will be used in the facility inside and outside maintenance personnel
  • Train housekeeping staff as well as gaining up-to-date knowledge through seminars, etc.
  • Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside
  • Oversee all operations for housekeeping at the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and post-event
  • Able to function as a manager when needed
  • Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary
  • Enforce all policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must have knowledge of staffing requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for planning coverage around events required
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of management principles and procedures as relates to personnel deployment and utilization
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
