Position Summary

UNM Taos Office of Student Affairs is seeking an Assistant Student Resource Navigator to:

* Support student engagement and activities that promote student success;

* Shop, stock, clean and inventory food and hygiene products for (both the Klauer campus and Rio Grande Hall) Thrive: Food and Resource Center and Safety Bins across campuses.

* Outreach to students (in person, via phone/email or social media) on the resources available to them;

* Understand and help students access resources on campus and in the community;

* Research and maintain a current UNMT Resource Guide;

* Host a table at events (campus and community based);

* Help students access benefits or other eligible services;

* Post flyers in the community and at Klauer and Rio Grande Hall. Maintain the bulletin boards in Padre Martinez Hall on Klauer campus;

* Keep records and communication confidential for all students and their relations;

* Answer phones and respond to emails when needed;

* Participate in meetings and other campus activities.

Preferred Qualifications

* Enjoy connecting with students and community organizations;

* Must possess a valid driver's license and pass driving exam to use UNMT vehicles;

* Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 50lbs);

* Must have good computer and communication skills;

* Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
