General Description
Assist with the coordination and oversight of the strength and conditioning program for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Essential Job Duties
1. Design yearly athletic performance plans for assigned teams.
2. Supervise and coach assigned team through the athletic performance plan.
3. Daily execution of athletic performance plan for the assigned team.
4. Assist in administering the athletic performance plans for other teams.
5. Create a testing prescription for your assigned team and help administer the testing
prescription with other teams.
6. Collaborate and communicate with coaching staffs to create a yearly athletic performance plan.
7. Deliberately work and communicate with the Athletic Training Staff to enhance the student-athlete experience.
8. Work to finish any project given by the staff to continue with education efforts.
9. Attend to daily maintenance upkeep projects along with daily/weekly cleaning sessions.
All GAs work under the direct supervision of full-time faculty and/or staff.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and admission into the Masters of Science in Exercise Science program.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must successfully complete NCAA DII University online modules.
- Must be able to receive and follow instruction from full-time faculty and staff; carefully following all directives.
- General knowledge of physiology, athletic training, nutrition and exercise science.
- Familiarity with strength and conditioning equipment and facilities.
- Ability to provide an excellent client experience, showing empathy motivating clients.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow cleaning and disinfecting practices of work spaces and equipment.
- Ability and maturity to handle/maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Strong verbal and written professional communication skills.
- Ability to work both in a team setting and independently.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional and collegial attitude at all times.
