Maintenance TechnicianLocation: 26701 Telegraph Rd, Southfield MI Pay rate range: $20/hr - $24/hrMust be able to drywall, mud, paint, basic landscaping, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, and be willing to porter like activities among other similar activities requested by our customers within the building. It depends upon the skills of the candidate and their experience pay rate would be between $20 to $24/hrSurvey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standardsPerform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessaryMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticideConduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followedRequirementsProven experience as maintenance technicianBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtimeHigh school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired Experience = 0-3 years
