Job Description Job Description Salary: $75,000 $140,000 annually, DOE Job Title:Licensed Civil Engineer Steel Storage Tank Design Location:Hemet, California Department:Engineering / Design Reports To: Vice President ofEngineering Job Type:Full-Time Work Schedule:MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4/10-hour shifts) Pay Range:$75,000 $140,000 annually, DOE Job Summary Paso Robles Tank, Inc. is seeking aLicensed Civil Engineerto join its on-site engineering and CAD team in Hemet, CA. This positionis responsible forthe structural design, analysis, and documentation of welded and bolted steel storage tanks used in municipal and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate has a strong civil or structural engineering foundation, the ability to work within established industry codes, and an interest in developing specializedexpertisein steel tank design. This is an on-site position requiring daily collaboration with engineering, fabrication, and CAD personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform structural engineering analysis and design for welded and bolted steel storage tanks.

Apply applicable industry codes and standards including AWWA, API, and NFPA requirements. Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, andsupportingdocumentation. Develop and review technical drawings in coordination with CAD designers.

Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. Review project specifications and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Support design revisions, engineering clarifications, and technical problem-solving during fabrication.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes, design efficiency, and standardization. Maintainaccurateand organized engineering records and files. Qualifications Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Civil Engineeringor related engineering discipline.

Licensed Civil Engineer (Professional Engineer preferred). Strong understanding of civil and/or structural engineering principles. Ability to work on-site daily in Hemet, CA.

Preferred Qualifications Eight (8) or more years of engineering experience (eligible for higher compensation range). Experience with steel structures, storage tanks, or industrial/manufacturing design. Familiarity with welded and bolted steel tank systems.

Experience working within regulated engineering codes and standards. Skills and Competencies Proficiencywith engineering and design software, including: Autodesk Inventor (programming experience a plus) AutoCAD STAAD Microsoft Excel Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Steel Structures Storage Tank Design API 650, API 653 AWWA Standards NFPA 22 Welded Steel Tanks Bolted Steel Tanks Engineering Design Technical Drawing Industrial Engineering Project Engineering Microsoft Excel Manufacturing Engineering Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reasoning skills. Ability to interpret engineering codes, drawings, and specifications.

Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based engineering environment. High attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Environment This positionoperatesin aprofessional office and engineering design environmentwith regular interaction with fabrication and production operations. Conditions may include: Office-basedcomputer anddesign work. Occasional exposure to manufacturing or fabrication areas.

Use of standard office equipment and engineering software. Required adherence to company safety policies when entering shop or production areas. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing engineering and computer-based tasks.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members in office and shop environments. Occasional walking, bending, or standing when visiting fabrication or production areas. Travel Requirements No regular travelrequiredfor this position.
