Essential Duties
The Graduate Assistant will support the College of Science and Engineering with STEM outreach events, communications, technology activities, program preparation, and general office support.
Duties include:
  • Assist with STEM outreach events, school visits, camps, and Mobile STEM Innovation Lab activities.
  • Prepare, set up, clean up, and organize outreach materials and equipment.
  • Help lead activities and communicate professionally with students, educators, families, and partners.
  • Support VR equipment, computers, software, troubleshooting, technical records, and other assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • STEM major
  • Experience with STEM outreach, VR equipment, computer hardware, software, or related technology.

Physical Demands
  • Walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to push up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to lift hands above head

Salary
$14.00 an hour
