Human Resources Assistant - Itasca, IL
$50,000 - $60,000/Annually (Dependent on experience) - Plus full benefits

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Maintain employee records and update information within the HRIS
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including new hire paperwork and orientation scheduling
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs and tracking applicants
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
- Prepare employment documentation and maintain confidential personnel files
- Assist with employee engagement activities and company events
- Help ensure HR documentation remains accurate and compliant
- Support additional HR projects as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3-12 months of office or internship experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
