Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Photography Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing youth sports photography projects from the initial client contact through the successful completion of photo day and final image publication. The Photography Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for our youth sports customers while ensuring every project runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate youth sports photography projects from initial client contact through final image publication.
  • Plan and organize all aspects of photo day to ensure an efficient and successful experience for leagues, schools, coaches, and families.
  • Communicate with league administrators, coaches, and customers before, during, and after photo day.
  • Coordinate photographer assignments, schedules, and logistics.
  • Track incoming photography from all photographers and verify that every team and individual has been photographed and received.
  • Monitor projects through each stage of production to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with internal editing and production teams to ensure photos are published accurately and on time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to questions and resolving issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate project records using the company's project management software.
  • Identify potential scheduling or production issues and proactively resolve them before they become problems.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of photo day processes and workflow efficiency.

Business Development Opportunity

This position also offers the opportunity to earn commissions by developing new business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with youth sports organizations, schools, and leagues.
  • Identifying and pursuing new photography opportunities.
  • Assisting with sales presentations and proposals.
  • Earning commission on new youth leagues and photography projects brought to the company.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service experience with a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable learning and using project management software and internal workflow systems.
  • Proficient with computers and common office software.
  • Experience coordinating events, projects, photography, or youth sports is preferred but not required.
