Physician Assistant – Sports Medicine & Orthopedics

New grads welcome. Open position at CHS Recruiting in Little Rock, AR.

Schedule
  • Full‑Time

  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Some flexibility offered
  • No evenings, weekends, holidays, or on‑call duties

Company Profile

This multi‑specialty private practice serves all of Little Rock and the surrounding area, specializing in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, whiplash treatment, custom rehabilitation plans, and much more. The office offers services for neck and spine, shoulder, arm and elbow, hip, hand and wrist, knee, ankle and foot, and leg. The dedicated team of orthopedic physicians and physician assistants are experts in the treatment and care of the musculoskeletal system.

Position Description

This practice sees patients for a wide range of orthopedic pain and injury conditions, as well as sports medicine. The role of the physician assistant includes, but is not limited to:

  • Perform therapeutic joint injections, trigger point injections, and joint injections
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑operative patient care
  • Assist with consultation and follow‑up on a routine basis
  • Assist with medical decision‑making, data gathering, documentation, and transitions of care
  • Assist with reassessments, acute visits, clinics, and test monitoring
  • Assist with patient follow‑up and medical management

Providers typically see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, though the schedule can be adjusted based on patient need. New physician assistants will see patients independently and may also work alongside an established orthopedic physician.

  • NCCPA certification
  • Full training provided; no experience required
