Assistant Solar Installer Jobs in Boston, MA (NOW HIRING)

Devlin Energy is a local, family-owned electrical & solar contracting company experiencing unprecedented growth. Serving the New England area for nearly 15 years, we are looking to add a highly motivated individual to our team.

The Account Manager (AM) leads our team to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with our customers. As the primary point of contact for their assigned accounts, the AM drives projects by monitoring flow through the pipeline from the sale origination through the completion phase of placing a system in service. The Account Manager’s responsibilities include the ability to liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. The position requires excellent communication skills and a “customer first” attitude.

Position Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9-5 (flexible)

Location: Main Office located in Rockland, MA

Please note: This position is an in-person, in-office commitment Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (or potentially 8:00am - 4:00pm). If you cannot commit to this schedule, we kindly ask that you withdraw your application.

• Primary point of contact for customers from deal signed to permission to operate
• Provide regular proactive updates on project status and next steps
• Work with customers to schedule appointments (site inspection, installation, etc.)
• Document customer interactions in CRM
• Handle escalated projects in collaboration with necessary stakeholders and escalate problems to manager for resolution
• Own the change order process
• Ensure projects move through pipeline in a timely manner
• Host pipeline calls for channel partners
• Effective verbal and written communication via Microsoft suite
• Assist Service Team with customer service inquiries
Qualifications
• Previous experience in sales, customer experience or account management
• Associates Degree or 2+ years’ experience equivalent
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Strong communication skills with ability to deescalate and resolve customer issues and questions
• Ability to quickly pivot tasks based on importance
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Detailoriented and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solar industry experience preferred, but not required

Salary: $50,000 - $72,000 (based on experience)
