Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at a Stillwater's top-ranking hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Duties For Front Desk / Houskeeper

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling reservations and payments.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area, keeping all materials up to date and accessible.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure a pleasant stay.
  • Utilize hotel management software to manage bookings and guest information accurately.
  • Three months of housekeeping or general cleaning work experience.
  • Previous experience working with cleaning equipment, products and chemicals.
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, understand, and write English.
  • Prepare bed and bath linens
  • Clean and organize guest rooms
  • Replace amenities and promotional materials
  • Remove trash and soiled linens and transport them to designated areas
  • Maintain adequate cleaning supplies
  • Use proper cleaning methods to ensure safety and prevent injury
  • Keep supply cart fully stocked and organized
  • Perform laundry duties including washing, folding, and pressing linens and towels
  • Report maintenance issues or deficiencies to housekeeping or engineering management
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, public areas, service corridors, and linen closets
  • Ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet brand standards
  • Follow hotel lost and found policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate professionalism, friendliness, and a commitment to personalized guest service

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
